Seven Summit Treks organizes specialised training session
Kathmandu, Jan 12: Seven Summit Treks, a leading Kathmandu-based trekking and expedition company, has organized a specialized training session for students and climbing guides.
Held in the SST premises in Kapan, Kathmandu, the training session has seen the participation of 20 people (eight students and 12 climbing guides) under the supervision of Dr. Behrouz Moghaddasi, a high altitude medical expert, said the SST manager Thaneswar Guragai.
The Nepal Mountain Academy is a collaborative partner for the five-day 'Mountain First Aid Training Course (Advanced Level) that commenced on Thursday.
"We believe this training will enable the students in mountaineering and adventure to enhance their pragmatic skills, and the guides of SST to be more competent and qualified leaders in ensuring safe Himalayan adventures for the upcoming season," said Guragai.
