4 Nepalese climbers climbed Mt. Aconcagua (6962m) promoting Visit Nepal 2020 Campaign

Nepalese climbers successfully climbed Mt. Aconcagua (6962m), the highest peak in South America on 4 Jan 2020 to promote the ‘Visit Nepal 2020’ campaign. Along with Tashi Lakpa, Karma Tenzing, Halung Dorchi Sherpa, and Satish Man Pati stood atop the 6,962-metre peak where over 50 world climbers joined the team to promote the ‘Visit Nepal-2020’ campaign.
“We reached to the top of the peak on 4 Jan, carry the banner of VN-2020 banner, we hope our effort will comfort to sign up more tourists to visit Nepal in this year” – according to Tashi Lakpa Sherpa who, MD at Seven Summit Treks and Leader of the expedition.
“I am glad, international climbers joined the Nepalese team to celebrate Christmas, New Year 2020, and Nepal’s tourism campaign on the summit of the highest peak in S. America. Our team has also urged all climbers in Aconcagua to visit the Himalayan country Nepal in 2020” – Tashi Lakpa Sherpa added.
With the successful ascent of Mount Aconcagua, Tashi Lakpa, on his mission to scale all seven highest peaks of all seven continents, completed his fifth mountain this winter. He has to climb two more peaks – Mount Vinson in Antarctica and Mount Carstenz pyramid in Australia – to achieve the feat. The Managing Director of Seven Summit Treks has already climbed Mt Everest, Denali, Elbrus, and Kilimanjaro. He is also the youngest person to climb Mt. Everest without a supplement of an oxygen bottle, back in 2005.
